Why I Write.

JShepherd author pic smWriting allows me to make contact with my higher self. Period. Question mark. I may have a few ideas about what to write, but I have no idea what will come out when I sit down at the keyboard. I find that both scary and incredibly exciting. Writing is like asking the exciting question, ‘what will I discover now?’ and getting a new answer every time.

I’ve been writing, astrologically, since 2004. I’ve written about celebrities, love and romance, forecasting. My favorite gig of all was ghost-writing horoscopes and astrology advice for a famous astrologer. Don’t even try and ask who that is – I’m saying nothing! I published my first book, A Love Alchemist’s Notebook: Magical Secrets for Drawing Your True Love into Your Life (Llewellyn 2010), Karmic Dates and Momentary Mates: The Astrology of the Fifth House (Moonkissd 2014) and Venus Signs: Discover Your Erotic Strengths and Secret Desires Through Astrology (Llewellyn 2015). I’ve written articles for astrology.com, astrocenter.com, sasstrology.com, Llewellyn’s Moon Sign Book (2012), WellBeing Astrology (Australia), Pregnancy & Newborn, Saptarishi’s Astrology and Constellation magazines.
